Robert Morera, sailor
Born in Vilassar de Mar (Barcelona), March 23, 1988. Since he was little he discovered sailing by meaning of light-sailing courses. He accomplished various crossings from the Catalan Coast to the Balearic Islands and coastal navigations all around the Catalan and Valencian coastline.
Robert Morera is a really skillful person to solve emergency repairs, really careful with people and with the boat. When he’s on duty he loves to fish and make bracelets. He enjoys and makes the little ones enjoy. He specially likes to use the auxiliary boat to move passengers from the boat to land or to practice water-sports like water-ski, wakeboard, donut...
Titles and Marine Courses done:
- Basic Training Awarded by the “Direcció General de Pesca i Afers Marítims de la Generalitat de Catalunya” and the General Direction of Marine Merchants. Professional title that includes the following areas:
- Survival in the sea in case of abandonment of the ship.
- Security on the job and social responsibilities.
- Initial Specific Sanitary Training. First-Aids.
- Prevention and fire-fighting.
- Advanced in Fire-Fighting Awarded by the General Direction of Marine Merchants and achieved in the Safety Training Centre of “Can Padró”.
- Motor and Sail Recreational Ship Skipper. (P.E.R.) Awarded by the “Departament d’Agricultura, Ramadería i Pesca de la Generalitat de Catalunya”. Recreational title that gives him the right to sail up to 12 miles from the coast and pilot ships until 12 meters long.
- Superior Technician in Supervision and Machinery Control and Embarkation Services. Actually he is studying relations with the sea and boats in La Ametlla de Mar, spezializing in the area of marine motors.
